The IMC traineeship is designed to enhance and accelerate your skills and knowledge while providing you with opportunities to network and build relationships with international colleagues.
About the program
During your internship, or for the first few months of the traineeship, we’ll arrange your housing. You’ll stay at a fully-equipped, serviced apartment near the office. The building has a swimming pool and a gym, and is situated in the business district which offers lots of options to eat and socialise.
IMC encourages continuous learning. We offer a number of internal and external trainings to encourage personal and skill development. Graduates begin their IMC career with an extensive global traineeship at two of our global office locations.
IMC offers a competitive salary to both interns and graduates and, as an expat, you are likely to be eligible for tax benefits.
We take time to bond and celebrate our collective success through regular social events such as dinners, poker and movie nights, and Friday drinks. We also host an unforgettable holiday party and 'Weekend Away' each year. In recent years, we've been to Ibiza, Lapland and Lisbon.
We’ll take good care of you during working hours. You can enjoy a free catered breakfast and lunch and choose from a wide variety of drinks, fruit and snacks throughout the day. If you have to stay late, we provide dinner too. On Fridays, we celebrate the week together with drinks and snacks.
We look after you in all sorts of ways, including subsidised gym membership, sit-stand desks, daily nutritious snacks and a fortnightly chair massage.
As competitive team players, we love sports. Throughout the week IMC hosts training groups for cycling, running, climbing, rowing, football and squash. And you’re welcome to join in team events like cycling’s Amstel Gold Race, the Dam to Dam run from Amsterdam to Zaandam, and the annual charity MoRun.
Each year, IMC donates a share of our profits to non-profit organisations. Employees are encouraged to volunteer their time through a variety of opportunities and fundraisers. IMC also matches employee donations and provides grants to causes our employees are passionate about.
